We are conveniently located at the "Y" end of town. We are the big old blue building next to TJ Max and Grass Roots grocery store. We have a good size parking lot and loads of neighborhood parking. We are close to bike paths, bus stops and the lake.
Our bakers start work before the sun rises each day to ensure that every batch is as fresh as possible before it gets to you. The warm smell of baking often escapes onto the street before we've even opened. We're dedicated to kickstarting your morning with warm house made bagels, muffins, buttery scones, fresh croissants and pies and pastries. Add a cup of hot locally roasted Black Cabin coffee and your day will be great. We also offer a full espresso bar for all your latte needs!

We work with local suppliers to source the freshest and most authentic ingredients, and use old-fashioned techniques to ensure the highest quality. We never use preservatives or high fructose corn syrup and always bake all our goodies fresh every day we are open. We proudly get our fresh seasonal fruit from farms in Placerville CA, and the central valley. All our items are lovingly hand made in small batches to insure you get the highest quality product possible. After one taste, you'll see how everything we serve is, "A cut above the rest!"

You will feel like you walked back in time. Our unique country kitchen décor feels like you are in your grandmas kitchen. Wood paneling and retro décor is what you will find in our home style bakery. Our small retail area is a good place to find antiques, gifts items, aprons, jams cookbooks, spices and more.
